Professional statement

Nadeshda Hernandez is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Long Beach, CA, who strives to empower millennials, generation Z, women, and anybody who wants to prioritize their joy, passion, and inspiration to, as a bonus, transform, elevate, and liven our amazing world. She does so with individuals, couples (traditional or alternative), and families. Her approach is holistic in that she incorporates traditional therapeutic approaches as well as some less traditional schools of thought such as feminism, existentialism, spirituality, and the law of attraction, hypnosis, neurolinguistic programming, oracle cards, EFT tapping, binaural beats, dream analysis, and essential oils.

Aside from her private practice with clients, Nadeshda is a clinical supervisor at a non-profit agency and privately. She also created a sex-positive board game (currently only for adults and in English) and is looking to expand further into that field, as well as other fields. Nadeshda is very excited for the expansion of our planet as we all more frequently and consistently remember how wonderful we really are.

Nadeshda is currently having fun with providing more remote sessions during this pandemic, out of which much good has also come. She does so from her home office, and she is also looking into how to have in-person sessions from her home office in Long Beach. At the moment, she is grateful to also be sharing an office in Long Beach outside of her home. As far as scheduling, you can contact Nadeshda to set up a 10 minute call, and if that flows, she looks forward to then scheduling your initial appointment. Nadeshda encourages clients to remember that there's nothing to fix -- just your wellbeing to allow. She is happy to show you how.

Message to clients

Before realizing that I myself was a millennial, I loved them! I thought I was perhaps born too soon because I identified with millennials yet wasn't chronologically part of that generation. Recently, I found out that I am a millennial, and it all makes so much more sense! Despite being often misunderstood, as long as we tap into our true beautiful selves, millennials are so powerful, and I feel honored and excited to be part of this collective enlightenment in our history.

I am grateful for my life, which I believe I have chosen. I am eager to share with you much of what I have remembered along this life journey as long as our conversations flow and resonate. I believe we are all interconnected and mirror each other in many ways; ironically, our paths are figuratively parallel if they cross. We inevitably grow as we follow our most fun. Our emotions and everything around us are feedback since realizing what we don't like helps us discover what we like, love, and want. One thought at a time, enjoy dancing to the beat of your inner being, higher power, or higher self.
