Professional statement

Tracy Sachs is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist located in Agoura Hills, CA. Tracy supports adult individuals and couples transform unhealed wounds and discover more meaning and connection in their lives. The types of clients that Tracy works with tend to be people who seek a sense of wholeness and authenticity. They might have tried a few different ways of living more authentically yet feel like they aren’t yet reaching their full potential and a sense of peace. Often, these clients are in the middle of major life transitions such as a change in relationship status, challenges at work, or new motherhood/parenthood, which can lead to feelings of worthlessness, frustration, or irritability.

Tracy’s holistic approach when working with clients is based in the mind, body, and soul, as she helps clients integrate each aspect of their lives for a sense of heightened well-being. She also practices Depth Psychology, which engages a client’s unconscious wisdom through better understanding emotional discomfort. Tracy guides clients through introspection and body connection so they can develop a stronger understanding of themselves and their unsaid or unacknowledged needs and desires. She often brings yoga, meditation, breathwork, and ritual into her work as tools to support clients feel more connected and purposeful in their lives.

Tracy earned a Master’s degree in Counseling from Pacifica Graduate University with an emphasis in Depth Psychology. She is a warm and empathetic therapist who places a heavy emphasis on building a trusting relationship with each client.

Message to clients

Thank you for visiting me here. I understand that it’s a big deal to reach out for support. It suggests that something isn’t feeling right in your life and you’re ready to make a change. One of my greatest joys is accompanying others on their journey of self-discovery and transformation. I want to support you to feel better.

My own journey of healing, self-discovery, and transformation, led me to eventually become a psychotherapist. Holistic and depth modalities profoundly changed my own life, so I was inspired to learn and practice these orientations as a clinician. I am particularly drawn to Depth Psychotherapy approaches such as Jungian Psychology and Archetypal Psychology. I also draw heavily on Somatic therapy, Attachment Theory, and inner child work.

I have witnessed that when we approach our circumstances with reverence and feel that we are truly seen and supported, often our symptoms diminish and our lives feel more vibrant and purposeful. My intention is to compassionately witness you in your time of need so that you can transform your life and feel better.
