Zencare started as a solution to a common problem: it's really difficult to find a therapist online. Zencare streamlines the process and empowers therapy-seekers through up-to-date availability and insurance information, introductory videos, and a vetted network to ensure quality care and great therapist-client fit.
About the role
Zencare is looking for an enthusiastic Associate Therapist Outreach Lead to join our Therapist Growth Team, the driving force in company expansion.
In this role, you will reach out to and recruit therapists to grow our network of quality providers, now expanding nationally! You will join a passionate team that works tirelessly to build and enhance relationships with therapists who share our mission of increasing access to quality mental health care, so that therapy seekers can find their ideal provider.
In your daily work, you will drive exploratory conversations with potential therapist members, identify how Zencare could help their practices grow, and successfully position the Zencare value proposition. Outreach strategies include scheduled calls as well as outbound cold calls. You will be the “human face” of Zencare to potential new members.

- Professional experience: 1-3 years of professional experience post-Bachelor’s preferred, especially in business development.

Compensation and benefits
- On target earnings (OTE): $52,000-$70,000. Base salary: $45,000 - $60,000, plus performance-based commission.

What to expect in the interview process
The interview process for the Associate Therapist Outreach Lead has four primary components:
- Initial call: We'll ask about your interests, strengths, and goals for the years ahead.
- Role play: We'll ask you to prepare for a roleplay in which you'd be the Associate Therapist Outreach Lead on an introductory call with a provider.
- Career rundown & competency questions: You'll have the chance to meet with other team members, and we'll go more in depth to understand your previous experiences and strengths, while you ask us questions, too!
- Reference checks: We'll ask to speak with your peers, supervisors, and other folks who can speak to their experience working with you, and how we can build an environment in which you would thrive.
