Drs. Stephanie Simon, Lauren Sweitzer, and Emma Shimony are doctoral-level clinicians in Manhattan's Flatiron District and Brooklyn Heights. They work with individuals, couples and families who are feeling stuck in their ruminative thoughts, current life situations, or present relationships. Many of their patients come in experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, and/or generalized stress from relationship challenges, childhood or recent traumas, and significant life transitions, such as becoming a new parent. Together, Dr. Simon's practice of highly skilled clinicians helps patients understand how they contribute to maladaptive patterns in their thinking, responses to emotions, and relationships. Through both insight-oriented and cognitive behavioral approaches, Drs. Simon, Sweitzer and Shimony help their patients understand how to make direct changes to alleviate symptoms, live more balanced lives, and find deeper connections in their relationships. They are dedicated to building a relationship that is built on trust, empathy, and compassion.
Dr. Simon received their degree from PGSP-Stanford Psy.D. Consortium. acquired clinical training at Palo Alto VA, Stanford Psychiatry, Partnerships for Trauma Recovery San Francisco VA, Sepulveda VA, and The Motherhood Center of NY.

If you are uncertain about your out of network insurance benefits, you can contact the member services number on your insurance card and ask the following questions:
1. Do I have out of network benefits for behavioral health (mental health)? If yes...
2. What is my out of network deductible for behavioral health? (This is how much you’ll pay up front, if anything, before they start reimbursing you).
3. What is the out of network reimbursement rate for service code 90834 (individual therapy) or 90847 (couples/family therapy)?
