Our group practice focuses on anxiety, depression, trauma and life transitions.
We believe that wellness looks different for everyone. Our goal is to reduce the barriers to trauma-informed mental health care to help you create space in your life.
We have two practice locations (Lincolnwood, IL & Chicago, IL) and offer virtual support, and currently accept BCBS-PPO plans.

Illumination Psychotherapy provides psychotherapy services available in Illinois via Online (Teletherapy), by Telephone, and In-Office.
Illumination Psychotherapy specializes in a variety of areas including anxiety, depression, and trauma. Specifically focusing on LGBTQ+ communities and people experiencing life-transitions.

Illumination Psychotherapy is in-network with most Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO plans. If you do not have health insurance, we accept private pay ($125-150). We are happy to provide 'super-bills' for out-of-network claims.
Anxiety - Coping with excessive worry, nervousness, or stress; intense discomfort in social settings (social anxiety); sudden and intense feelings of panic (panic disorder)
Attachment issues - Development of effective relational and communication skills; insight into family attachment patterns;fostering healthy family relationships.
Depression - Providing support and promoting healing of hopelessness, low motivation and energy, sadness, irritability, sleep disturbance, and loss of interest and pleasure in life
LGBTQIA, gender, & sexuality topics - Exploring topics of sexuality, gender, and identity; coping with discrimination and oppression; navigating relationship, family, and cultural challenges
Life transitions - Coping with difficult or impactful life changes, such as moving to a new area, relationship transitions, child rearing, or career changes; learning self-care to better manage resulting stress
Trauma - Coping and healing after threatening or scary events, such as witnessing accidents or experiencing sexual, verbal, emotional, or physical abuse
