Laike Rising Therapy works with individuals and couples who are experiencing challenges in life. Regardless of where you are in your journey, we are here to help you get unstuck and begin your journey of healing and change.
Our approach to treatment will vary depending on your needs. What is most important is that you feel comfortable with who you are working. We are a group of practitioners who are specialized in treating issues around sex, sexuality, relationships, infidelity, ethical non-monogamy, polyamory, and intimacy. Ultimately, our goal is to help you move forward and determine what is causing you to feel overwhelmed. We're here to provide transformative support. What makes us different from other practices is that our seasoned practitioners will walk alongside you through this transformation journey.
What may appear impossible for you is possible. You are seeking a solution, and we want to help. We are here to provide you with the support that you need. What you've tried is likely not working for you or your relationship. Let's change this together!
We realize how challenging it can be to find the right fit. Before beginning therapy, we want you to schedule a free 15-minute consultation. This will allow you to ask questions about our practice and determine if our treatment approach suits you. This process is designed to help place you with the right therapist. We understand that your relationship with your therapist indicates that change is possible.
At Lake Rising Therapy, we believe mental health should be accessible and affordable to everyone. This is why we have chosen to be in-network with Aetna and Cigna health insurance.
While understanding insurance can feel challenging, we want to make this effortless for you. Before beginning therapy, our billing office will contact your insurance and verify your insurance and determine what your financial responsibility is (i.e., do you have a deductible, co-pay, or co-insurance).
For those who have a plan that is Out-of-Network, our fees range from $80-$215 -- depending on the provider and service received. Many clients use Out of Network benefits to pay for therapy. They even find they can be reimbursed for much of the cost. We can submit claims for you directly to your insurance company.
Laike Rising Therapy is a full-service therapy group practice in Midtown Manhattan. We offer individual, couples, and group therapy sessions. We are also trained to provide therapy to individuals in thruples or polyamorous relationship structures.
We believe in providing a collaborative approach to care. We believe in making treatment meaningful. We believe in providing services to help you experience change and growth. People are complex, and it is essential to understand what works for you may only work for yourself. And, while we may recommend something, we want you to know that you ultimately control the type of services you choose to engage in.
Sometimes we recommend working with another therapist who is more specialized in a specific area.
We want you to feel empowered. We want you to experience meaningful change.
The therapists at Laike Rising Therapy specialize in various areas, including anxiety, depression, and trauma. Each therapist varies in the post-graduate training they have received. While some hold AASECT board certifications in Sex Therapy, others have training in trauma-related modalities, such as EMDR and hypnotherapy.
Laike Rising Therapy provides a unique approach to treatment. Our group of skilled therapists is dedicated to helping you experience change. You are here because you need a solution. What you are experiencing right now is difficult. So why would you want to go anywhere else? What is most important is that you feel we are the right fit for you.
