We are a psychology/counseling private practice located in Phoenix, Arizona. With both psychologists and licensed professional counselors experienced in everything from psychological assessment to individual therapy, Levitan and Associates Psychological Services can help address a wide range of mental health needs. We work with various local and state-wide agencies to provide services to a wide range of populations. In addition to clinical work, our providers are also well versed in forensic services. We provide court-ordered evaluations, counseling, and other therapeutic intervention services.

Our treatment approach includes the use of a wide variety of clinical tools so that you receive tailor-made services for your specific needs. We specialize in diagnosing and treating anxiety and trauma-related disorder, depressive and stress-related disorders, as well as symptoms related to phase of life changes, personality disorder, or behavioral dysfunction. Regardless of the services you seek, we will utilize evidence based treatment to promote a healthy and supportive environment to help facilitate healing.


What services does your practice offer?

We offer both comprehensive and specialized psychological assessments for individuals looking for some mental health diagnosis clarification or need specific testing for treatment/benefits consideration. Our specialized evaluations include neuropsychological, autism/ADHD, and personality testing. Our clinicians also provide individual, couples, and family counseling. These services are offered in-person or virtually through a secure web-based audio/visual client. In addition to clinical services, we also offer forensic services and have worked closely with criminal, juvenile, and family court.

What are your practice's specialties?

Our providers at Levitan and Associates Psychological Services each provide unique and specialized treatment options to our clients. Some unique services that you can find include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Animal-Assisted Therapy (AAT), and Biofeedback therapy. Our staff also include providers who specialize in law enforcement critical incident evaluation and treatment, as well as services for military, first responders, and other medical providers. We also have providers who specialize in LGBTQIA+ and gender affirming therapy available.

Providers who specialize in autism spectrum disorder evaluations and assessment, twice-exceptional learner evaluations, and other neurodevelopmental or neuropsychological assessment for children, teens, and adults are available as well. We frequently work with schools and other providers to help with disability evaluations, 504 planning, and employee assistance programs.

Forensic psychology - Understanding and managing triggers and motivations related to criminal activity; evaluation of one’s mental competence, criminal responsibility, competency to stand trial, risk-assessment; testifying as an expert witness
