Mindful Psychology is a group practice full of dedicated therapists striving to provide a person-centered experience for every individual, couple, or family that walks through our door. Our minds and bodies are not "one size fits all" so our treatments can't be either. That's why our therapists are trained in different modalities, specialize in different populations, and collaborate together to help each of our clients meet their personal goals. We don't have what you need? No problem. We'll help point you in the right direction.
We strive to be as transparent as possible at every point in the process. It's hard to reach out to a therapist. We know that feeling... emailing a new therapist, biting our nails waiting to find out if they are too expensive, specialize in the modality we want, or have availability that matches our own. We don't want that anxiety-provoking experience for our clients. That's why we put everything online. From our Service Contract to online booking, you can get all your questions answered on our website (mindfulpsychology.us) before reaching out.
Our values include empathy, honesty, and open-mindedness. These values permeate both our therapeutic approach as well as the way we run our business. With that in mind, we believe in finding a balance between providing affordable care for our clients and taking care of our therapists. Burnt out therapists lead to bad therapy, so we chose a price point that can take care of both sides.
At Mindful Psychology, our practitioners are out-of-network with insurance, but able to provide superbills for reimbursement. With a rate of $90 per 45 minute session with a master's level therapist, most clients' rate after reimbursement from out-of-network benefits is similar to the copay they would have for an in-network provider.
We accept debit, credit, and HSA/FSA cards as well as checks.
Each of our therapists have their own specialities and approaches, though we share a passion for helping others achieve their goals. All of our therapists are equipped to work with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and stress. We also have therapists who specialize in children and adolescents, self-harm and self-injurious behavior, trauma, and complex trauma and dissociation.
