Practice Information

Mosaic Minds Counseling, LLC has a variety of clinicians who are highly-trained, knowledgable, supportive, and empathetic. We provide telehealth therapy (video counseling) to those processing trauma, working through anxiety, and overcoming OCD. However, we are not limited in providing services in these areas and often work with adults within the areas of grief, depression, ADHD, processing chronic illnesses/chronic pain, processing family dynamics, attachment issues, and more.

New studies have also started to show that Exposure Response Prevention for OCD through telehealth (video sessions), may be more effective than and faster than if you were receiving in person treatment. Telehealth has been shown to work as effectively as in person services for other areas of focus, while providing the client with the opportunity to receive services in a way that is accessible, fits within your schedule, and within the comfort of your home.

The quality of the therapeutic relationship is one of the biggest factors in therapy outcomes and our therapist emphasize that. We know this is nerve-wracking, but we encourage you, share how you feel about the therapeutic relationship in session and ask your therapists questions about why you are doing what you are doing in therapy. Let them know if something worked well for you or did not work well for you, if something upset you, or if you want to switch gears in session. You will be met with an understanding and empathetic responses from our clinicians.

FAQS

What services does your practice offer?

Mosaic Minds Counseling, LLC is a telehealth (video therapy) group practice serving clients in the states of Florida and Colorado. We offer individual, couples, and group counseling from the comfort of your own home.

What are your practice's specialties?

The therapists at Mosaic Minds Counseling, LLC specialize in a variety of areas, including, anxiety, trauma, and OCD. Each staff member has their own niche as well, with therapists that focus on certain subtypes of OCD, grief, ADHD, and chronic illness. We have a particular interest in working with adults, but have therapists on staff that also have experience working with children, teens, and families.

Why should I choose your practice?

Mosaic Minds Counseling, LLC strives to have therapists that you feel comfortable developing a therapeutic relationship with and that you feel like you can get safely vulnerable with. We've often been told by others that they in the past felt frustrated in therapy because they did not feel like they were finding the skills/processing that was needed to get where they wanted to be, but that this started to change when working with our therapists. Our therapists hold space for whatever needs to show up in this collaborative process and are very open to clients sharing feedback on the relationship and the therapy being provided. All of our therapists continuously engage in training to best serve their clients outside of the minimum training needed to obtain a degree and licensure.

How does payment work at your practice?

Mosaic Minds Counseling, LLC has therapists that are in-network with Cigna, Oxford, Oscar, Optum, Aetna, and United Healthcare (commercial plans only). If you do not have one of these health insurances, our fees range from $125-150 depending on the provider and service provided. We are happy to provide clients with superbills if we are out of network with your insurance company, that you can submit for potential reimbursement. Our staff is available to answer questions about billing, health insurance, and the process of submitting superbills.
