Practice Information

Here at Nurture Therapy, we believe that healthy and happy parents raise healthy and happy babies. With compassion, expertise, and cultural sensitivity, it is our mission to support women, female-identified individuals, birthing persons, and their families through all parts of the reproductive journey.

We counsel individuals and their families through emotional struggles and transitions, mainly those related to fertility, pregnancy, and parenthood. We offer a space for you to acknowledge all of your feelings, receive validation and support, gain confidence and learn better-coping strategies specific to your new role.

Therapy provides a healing and collaborative relationship that can help you to face challenges and make positive changes in your life. This is your journey and we are here to support you. Let's take those first steps together!

FAQS

What services does your practice offer?

Nurture Therapy offers individual, couples, group, and family therapy in person and virtually in Chicago, IL & Franklin, TN. We offer the same services virtually in CT, IN, MN, NJ, NY, and TX.

We also offer pediatric sleep consultations, infant mental health consultations, and fertility coaching.

What are your practice's specialties?

Nurture Therapy specializes in maternal and reproductive mental health including anxiety and mood disorders during pre-conception, pregnancy, postpartum, fertility journeys, parenting, preparing to launch, and other women's health specific issues.

Outside of the maternal & reproductive mental health specialty, we can accommodate clients looking to address general anxiety, depression, other mood disorders, sex therapy, interpersonal violence, and transitions across the lifespan.

How does payment work at your practice?

Nurture Therapy is in network with BCBS PPO, UHC (IL), UMR (IL), USHIP (U of Chicago/IL), UCHP (U of Chicago/IL). We are happy to check benefits prior to your first session and submit claims on your behalf.

BCBS PPO plans can be accepted if you are in a state other than Illinois, however you must be a telehealth client to utilize your benefits.

If you do not have one of these health insurance plans, our fees range between $100-$200 depending on the provider and service offered. We can offer a superbill at the end of each month for those who are out of network for you to submit to your insurance company.

Why should I choose your practice?

Nurture Therapy is unique in that all of our providers are trained in Perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs) through the Postpartum Support International organization. Most clinicians have a specialty within PMADs, such as fertility, grief & loss, transition to parenthood, birth trauma, anxiety, OCD, sex related challenges, and many more. Our intake team specifically places you with a therapist based on your needs and their specialty (pending matching availability). We pride ourselves in finding you a therapist match of someone who really understands what you are going through.
