How does payment work at your practice?

At Open-Minded MFT, we are in-network with Optum insurances which include United Health Care, Oscar, Oxford, UMR, and Surest. We are in the credentialing process with NYSHIP (Carelon Behavioral Health), Cigna (Evernorth), and World Trade Center Health Program. If you do not have one of these health insurances, our fee's are a flat rate of $125 for individuals and $150 for couples/families. We currently have a Marriage & Family Therapist Intern who's fee's are between $25-$40. We are also happy to provide superbills for you to submit to your insurance for out-of-network claims. Lastly, we require a card be on file in our system. This is for your session payment which is automatically charged after your session. This is also in the event of a late cancellation (under 24 hour notice) or no show where you will be charged $125.

Therapist's note

Our sliding scale is offered for our MFT-Intern, Rachael Khanimova, MFT-I. All fully licensed clinician rates are a flat fee of $125 and $150. A card is required to be on file in our system as we use an autopay system for session payments. This is also required in the event of a late cancellation or no show. Under 24-hour notice you will be charged the session fee of $125 (or your sliding scale fee).
