About

What services does your practice offer?

At Rottenberg Therapy, we provide individual therapy to adults across the lifespan. We also provide couples counseling, family therapy, and select group sessions. We welcome clients of all backgrounds, and offer safe and accepting care to members of the LGBTQAI++ community.

What are your practice's specialties?

Many of our clients are experiencing symptoms of anxiety and or depression, which they're finding are interfering with their daily lives. Others are undergoing major life transitions, such as entering the New York City workforce or contemplating if and how to form a family unit. We also help clients who navigate relationship concerns, ranging from fertility difficulties to navigating communication in open relationships. Additionally, we have expertise in helping clients who face immigration and acculturation adjustments; clients who are experiencing postpartum depression; and individuals who are cult survivors.

Why should I choose your practice?

At Rottenberg Therapy, we are dedicated to listening to you deeply, giving you real-time feedback on your challenges as we see them, and – above all else – to supporting you. We draw from various therapeutic approaches to ensure all clients have a tailored treatment plan, meaning you'll feel empowered and equipped with the tools so you can enact positive, lasting change.

How does payment work at your practice?

If you have insurance you may be eligible to get some of your fee reimbursed. We will help you find out about that. If you don't have insurance, we have a certain amount of sliding scale slots for people who cannot afford the full fees. Please let your therapist know, and we will do our best to help you get the therapy you need. We make payment convenient, we take all forms of payment, though most transactions are done electronically.
