Therapists of New York is a team of doctoral level psychotherapists. We treat individuals and couples struggling with a wide-range of difficulties and/or psychological disorders. We customize treatment to meet each client's individual needs by utilizing our expertise in multiple therapeutic techniques. Our clients are matched by our founder and director, Dr. Elinor Bock, based on personality and specific goals. The matching process relieves the initial hardship of shopping around for the right therapist.

Therapists of New York is a full-service therapy group practice in Midtown Manhattan. We offer individual, couples and group therapy sessions.
Therapists of New York is unique in that all our providers are doctorate level psychologists with a wide range of expertise and styles. Moreover, you are matched with one of our therapists based on your personality, treatment goals, and schedule.
We are out of network with all insurance companies, but we are happy to submit your claims to your insurance company as a courtesy. We will also follow up with any insurance issues so you can just focus on your treatment. Our fees range from $200-$300/session depending on who you work with.
Anxiety - Coping with excessive worry, nervousness, or stress; intense discomfort in social settings (social anxiety); sudden and intense feelings of panic (panic disorder)
Chronic illness - Receiving a diagnosis; adjusting to lifestyle and medication changes; coping with related changes in mood, emotions, and relationships; managing symptoms and stress
Couples counseling - Addressing relationship challenges and life transitions; strengthening communication and feelings of security, desire, connection, and love
Relationship issues - Understanding one’s wants and needs in relationships; exploring patterns of interaction, addressing concerns, and strengthening satisfaction in relationships and dating
Trauma - Coping and healing after threatening or scary events, such as witnessing accidents or experiencing sexual, verbal, emotional, or physical abuse
Mood disorders - Clinical depression, persistent depression, bipolar disorder, and other mood disorders that cause disturbances in the client's mood, causing mood swings, restless sleep, and/or elevated mood
