Hello! Mucho Gusto! My name is Laura Meeks, and I am the Director of Unite Counseling & Therapy. I started my own practice for a number of reasons. First, to provide quality counseling for you and your loved ones, and second, to provide a healthy work environment for therapists who do such hard work and are often underpaid and undervalued. It is my vision to create a united & healthy team of therapists who love their jobs, who can then show up fully for their clients and help them to also be united & healthy with themselves, their therapist, and their friends & family. I have hand selected a team of excellent clinicians! All of our therapists personalize your sessions based on your unique needs and desires, as well as their specific areas of training and expertise. I only hire professional clinicians with great skills and kind, caring hearts. We pride ourselves on helping you feel seen, understood, and empowered as we focus on being great listeners, teaching effective skills, and really getting to the root of your issues.
