Welcome! My name is Valerie Carmel and I am the owner and lead therapist at Valerie Carmel Therapy, LLC. We are a completely virtual therapy practice in Florida and Nevada. The decision to begin therapy is not always an easy one. You may be unsure where to start or what to expect. We are here to guide, empower and support you along the way.

We believe therapy doesn't work if you don't like talking to your therapist, and there's research to back that up! We take pride in curating therapeutic spaces and alliances with our clients, so you feel heard, understood and empowered. By partnering with the right therapist, you will receive the strategies, knowledge and support to achieve your mental wellness goals.

We pride ourselves in supporting female entrepreneurs and leaders of color in managing and beating the burnout of being the BOSS. Our areas of expertise include anxiety, trauma, depression, and stress management. Our approach is built on my Mental Wellness formula (trademark pending) that prioritizes self-care, self-awareness and self-growth. The goal is to teach you the tools to overcome the obstacles which impact your functioning personally, professionally and socially.
