Valerie Camel, specializes in anxiety and trauma. Her authentic, laidback and direct style empowers clients to elevate their perspective about what mental wellness and its pursuit means.
Brianna, specializes in chronic illness and life transitions. With several years of experience within an acute care hospital, learning to navigate life while managing illness and stress can be challenging. Brianna's relaxed, authentic and engaging style will provide the support and empowerment you need to set appropriate goals and expectations.
Mary Allison, specializes in peri and post-natal mental health. With several years experience within one of the largest Level 3 NICU's in the country her approach focuses on fostering adjustment to this newest phase of life. Amidst the roller coaster of events and emotions associated with pregnancy and delivery, she will assist in normalizing and validating both the joys and challenges.
We provide 55-minute individual therapy sessions virtually across the state of Florida and Nevada.
Valerie Carmel Therapy, LLC is in network with Aetna, Cigna, Optum/UnitedHealth, Oscar and Oxford insurances. We also offer bundled discounted therapy sessions in the event we are out of network, which can range $125-$95/session.
Anxiety - Coping with excessive worry, nervousness, or stress; intense discomfort in social settings (social anxiety); sudden and intense feelings of panic (panic disorder)
Depression - Providing support and promoting healing of hopelessness, low motivation and energy, sadness, irritability, sleep disturbance, and loss of interest and pleasure in life
Life transitions - Coping with difficult or impactful life changes, such as moving to a new area, relationship transitions, child rearing, or career changes; learning self-care to better manage resulting stress
Pregnancy, perinatal, postpartum mental health - Addressing issues specific to women and families during the pregnancy and postpartum period, including postpartum depression and anxiety
Stress management - Strengthening effective ways of coping with the stress of life and change; managing expectations of self and others
Trauma - Coping and healing after threatening or scary events, such as witnessing accidents or experiencing sexual, verbal, emotional, or physical abuse
