Krystal Vasconcelos and Kristeen Rocha are the founders of WE Consulting & Psychotherapy. They have partnered together throughout the past 20 years in providing high quality mental health services. They are committed to learning and delivering service that will make a difference.
Krystal utilizes multiple approaches: cognitive-behavioral, EMDR, IFS, non directive play and Tapping. Krystal is a certified EMDR therapist and consultant. Krystal specializes in introducing or reconnecting an individual with their Core Self. The Core Self is at the center of all the parts that comprise the individual. When the Core Self is not navigating our parts we encounter roadblocks. These roadblocks may consist of anxiety, emotional eating, self-loathing or other disturbing emotions or behaviors. In treatment you will discover your barriers and develop a road map that will lead you to attaining your goals.
Kristeen utilizes Accelerated Resolution Therapy in her practice and is trained as an Advanced Practitioner in this approach. Kristeen also uses strategies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Non directive Play therapy, ACT, and solution focused approaches. Kristeen is particularly passionate about working with children and their parents to increase and improve engagment with their children on their level in order to maximize strengths. She has worked extensively with children having developmental disabilities and their families across diverse clinical settings. She works closely with each child and their parents in providing support around developing their social interaction style, navigating family interactions, and managing sensory difficulties.
