Dr Adaku Anike is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner in Gaithersburg, Maryland. I specialize in treating a mental health disorders in adults 18-65 years with evidence-based clinical care practices while providing patient education, advocacy, and effective patient-centered care.

Dr. Adaku is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner (PMHNP) with great interpersonal skills and experience in working with adolescents, adults, and older adults to provide psychiatric services for a variety of mental health disorders including depression, anxiety, ADHD, Bipolar disorder, PTSD, substance abuse, psychotic disorders, sleep disorders, and personality disorders. She strives to provide clients with a safe environment to discuss their stressors and symptoms to ensure proper assessment and diagnosis using an evidence-based approach to create a care plan that is unique to each client’s treatment to achieve the most effective outcome. She understands that seeking care can be a scary process but you are not alone and help is available.
