She earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in pediatric primary care from Yale University, followed by additional training in child and adolescent mental health. Her background in pediatric primary care allows her to integrate medical and psychiatric perspectives, ensuring a comprehensive and holistic approach to treatment.

Message to clients

I understand the challenges parents face when their child is struggling with mental health issues. During my time in primary care, I realized that supporting children’s mental well-being starts with promoting their physical health and the overall well-being of their families. Recognizing that medication alone is not always the solution, I pursued additional training in functional and integrative medicine to offer a broader range of treatment options. Every patient is unique, and their treatment should be as well. My goal is to educate and empower you with a variety of therapeutic approaches while providing the guidance and support you need as you navigate your mental health journey.

Before our first appointment, I will gather a comprehensive medical history from you and your primary care provider, including past lab results, medical and psychiatric history, and symptom questionnaires. This allows me to gain a thorough understanding of your concerns before we even meet. Our first appointment will focus on reviewing key findings and conducting any additional evaluations needed. At our next visit, we will discuss and initiate a personalized treatment plan.

Follow-up appointments are scheduled as frequently as necessary to ensure effective treatment, typically weekly to bi-monthly in the early stages. Once your treatment plan is well established, we will adjust follow-ups based on your needs and progress. My goal is to provide continuous, tailored support for both parents and patients, fostering long-term mental wellness and success.
