Currently, she has a private practice in New York State where she conducts in-person individual and group psychotherapy while providing high-quality virtual mental health care to patients across the United States. Dr. Finley truly enjoys deeply understanding clients and helping them live meaningful, deep, rich, and satisfying lives.
She graduated from the highly-ranked University of Arizona (UA) Bachelor of Science in Nursing program with a psychology minor. After graduation, she worked as a board-certified psychiatric mental health registered nurse and supervisor in psychiatric hospitals helping adults and children. As an independently-licensed provider, Brooke has cared for many different types of clients from all walks of life, but has significant experience working with executives, healthcare professionals, first responders, artists, and college students. Of note, she was a provider at The Meadows in Wickenburg, Arizona, a world-class holistic treatment center.
She has extensive psychotherapy training in multiple modalities (ACT, CBT, DBT, EMDR, MBSR, REBT), but primarily utilizes what she considers the most effective long-term treatment, which is psychoanalytic psychotherapy. She completed fellowships at the Psychoanalytic Association of New York (PANY; affiliated with New York University) and the San Diego Psychoanalytic Center (SDPC).
Dr. Finley resides in the Finger Lakes region of New York State where she enjoys cooking, reading, being in nature, gardening, music, art, and caring for animals on her off-grid woodland homestead.
