Professional statement

Hello! I’m Carrie Hill, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Certified Addictions Registered Nurse-Advanced Practice. Through 17 years of experience working in various mental health settings, I've provided compassionate care to adults and veterans dealing with a range of mental health issues such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. My goal is to make mental health services accessible and effective for you.

Utilizing modern technology like HIPAA-compliant video platforms, I ensure that treatment is both confidential and convenient. I specialize in medication management, diagnosis, and therapy for ages 13 to 64. Keeping patient-centered care a priority, I work collaboratively with licensed therapists and other mental health professionals to offer holistic support. ******IMPORTANT: Controlled medications in NC & NY ONLY******

I founded my practice, RoadTrip 2 Recovery, with the mission of ensuring that my patients never feel alone on their journey. Together, we can navigate this path towards recovery and healing. My dedication to delivering high-quality care and exceptional, patient-centered services distinguishes me from others in the field. I aim to provide thorough, innovative, and individualized treatment plans, along with education and resources that empower each of my patients. Message to clients

I love working with my patients to help them achieve their best level of functioning. The human body is incredibly complex—there’s no ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach to mental or physical health. What works for one person may not work for another, which is why individualized care is essential.

I take the time to uncover potential underlying medical causes of mental health symptoms while also focusing on managing them, so they don’t interfere with daily life. I collaborate with your other medical providers and therapists to ensure you receive comprehensive, personalized care.

Your story matters. You deserve a provider who listens, understands, and is committed to helping you thrive. Let’s work together to find what works best for you!
