Professional statement

Cathy Bradway is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner located in Scottsdale, AZ. Cathy provides holistic, compassionate mental health services for adults and older adults. Many of her clients struggle with anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and overwhelming stress. She also helps clients who have been through traumatic events, including medical trauma, the loss of a loved one, abuse including toxic relationships, and more. She gives clients the tools they need to process through their difficult emotions and make healthy changes in their lives to work towards fulfillment and joy.

Cathy brings together different therapy techniques to provide wraparound support for her clients. She provides a safe, comfortable space for clients to talk through how they feel and what’s stressing them out. By listening empathetically, she redirects clients to consider how their strengths played out in times of adversity, helping them build their confidence and self-compassion. She also provides Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and hypnotherapy to help clients move on from being stuck in painful, scary memories. When appropriate, Cathy prescribes clients medications to decrease their symptoms and strives to minimize any negative side effects of those medications. She also includes sound therapy and Biofield Tuning practices into her sessions.

Cathy earned a Master’s degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She has over 20 years of experience working with clients. Her goal is to help her clients find balance in their lives and adjust in intentional, healthy ways when change comes around. By incorporating sound therapy, energy work, and medications, she offers clients multiple tools to use in their daily lives to benefit their mental health.

Message to clients

The journey through life on planet earth is quite the adventure with peaks and valleys. I love to help clients navigate this journey from the perspective that we are all just human beings doing the best we can. It is so deeply healing just to be heard in a nonjudgemental compassionate way.

Getting stuck, recycling patterns and overcoming history can all be sorted out. People are so complex and unique that I have studied many approaches to promote the shifting in perception that unravels the toughest issues. Your sessions with me may include talk, inventive exercises of all sorts, energy and sound processes in order to design treatment that is molded around you and your specific needs.

My wish for you is that your life be fulfilled with joy and contentment while you learn to sail through the peaks and valleys with the confidence and skills you acquire during your healing work.
