Professional statement

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I completed my Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Alabama’s Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program. Before earning my MSN, I received my BS in Nursing, BS in Science in Management and MBA, starting my journey at the University at Buffalo (SUNY). I am a two-time valedictorian and completed my MSN with Sigma Theta Tau honors. I have over 20 years of experience working at major entities, including Eli Lilly & Company, The Cleveland Clinic, and Duke Health. I spent most of my career in emergency, trauma, and psychiatry.

I endorse a holistic practice environment using evidence-based research for the optimal treatment and functioning of my patients. I enjoy providing therapy such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and medication management for patients experiencing major depression, anxiety disorders, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and other mood disorders. I also enjoy working with prenatal patients.
