Dakota completed her Master of Science in Nursing at University of Alabama’s Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program. Prior to her MSN, she completed two baccalaureates and her MBA starting her journey at University at Buffalo (SUNY). She is a two-time valedictorian and completed her MSN with Sigma Theta Tau honors. She has over 20 years’ experience working at major entities including Eli Lilly & Company, The Cleveland Clinic, and Duke Health.
She spent most of her career in emergency, trauma, and psychiatry. Dakota endorses a holistic practice environment using evidence-based research for optimal treatment and functioning of her patients. She enjoys providing therapy and medication management for patients experiencing major depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD, PTSD, antenatal, and postpartum, and other mood disorders.
