Professional statement

Fadekemi (Kemi) Olude is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner based in Texas, who works with individuals across the lifespan. Most of her patients have found success in their careers or academically, but struggle to feel connected in their relationships or at peace in their daily lives. Kemi is particularly sensitive to patients having trouble regulating their mood, anxiety, difficulty focusing, concentrating, experiencing symptoms of dissociation, mania, psychosis, and depression.

Kemi’s approach is focused on evidence-based practice helping patients use medication management to assist with processing their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are interconnected, so that they can begin to make the targeted change.

She works with her patients to help them understand their physical response to external stressors, and begin to problem-solve ways to introduce medications and therapeutic approaches to help them respond effectively.

Kemi is focused on guaranteeing that her patients see real progress: her style is professional, open, interactive, non-judgmental, and positions her patients as the experts in their care.

Kemi’s main priority is the safety of her patients to ensure that they feel understood and a parallel partner in their treatment process through a therapeutic approach. As an experienced telehealth provider, she offers the convenience of virtual sessions to help make therapy a core component of your self-care calendar.
