Happiness Nwadike is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with multistate licensure. She treats various mental health and psychiatric disorders. She provides initial evaluation, medication follow-up, and psychotherapy. Happiness focuses on the whole person and creates an individualized treatment plan for the patient. She works with the patient to select treatment plans that improve health and overall wellness.
Happiness supports the patient to participate and make decisions in their care. She wants the patients to have an insight into their care and will dedicate time to teaching about diagnosis, symptoms, medication, side effects, and more. In addition, she devotes time to listening to the patient and respecting their decisions and autonomy.
Happiness creates a safe environment for patients to express their feelings and thoughts. She motivates the patient to have positive behaviors toward achieving optimum health and wellness. She believes in the golden rule of treating the patient how she wants her or her family to be treated.
Happiness has 14 years of nursing experience, mostly in psychiatric nursing. She will listen and respect the patient. She is currently seeing patients via telehealth.

Anxiety - Coping with excessive worry, nervousness, or stress; intense discomfort in social settings (social anxiety); sudden and intense feelings of panic (panic disorder)
Bipolar disorder - Developing coping and preventive strategies to stabilize extreme mood swings, including manic and depressive episodes; increasing effective strategies to regulate emotions and maintain a healthy daily routine
Depression - Providing support and promoting healing of hopelessness, low motivation and energy, sadness, irritability, sleep disturbance, and loss of interest and pleasure in life

Mood disorders - Clinical depression, persistent depression, bipolar disorder, and other mood disorders that cause disturbances in the client's mood, causing mood swings, restless sleep, and/or elevated mood
