Joji Binu is an ANCC board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from Molloy College (New York) in August 2019, and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Chatham University (Pittsburgh) in April 2022. After graduating from her PMHNP program, Dr. Binu worked as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in an inpatient psychiatric setting. She has a wide range of experience working with patients that suffer from depression, anxiety disorders, OCD, and PTSD. Her experience working with psychotic disorders include: Schizophrenia, SchizoAffective Disorders, Substance use, and Bipolar Disorders. Dr. Binu has also worked with patients receiving ECT treatments to manage treatment-resistant depression and other severe psychiatric conditions. As a result, she has gained considerable skills and abilities that have molded her into the Practitioner she is today. Her passion to do Psychiatric Nursing stemmed from a young age due to the ongoing stigma in the field, which still exists today.

Dr. Binu’s motivations are rooted in the skills that she has obtained through exceptional training and experience, which she gladly offers to those in need. She strongly believes that therapeutic alliance is essential for the patient’s compliance with treatment plans.
