Professional statement

I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from New York University, where I focused on psychopharmacology and various psychotherapy treatment modalities. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I spent several years conducting clinical research at Harvard University’s McLean Hospital. I also worked as a registered nurse on acute inpatient psychiatric units at McLean Hospital and New York Presbyterian – Columbia University Medical Center. Before joining Rivia, I spent four years providing psychiatric care to underserved and at-risk patients at a community health center in Brooklyn.

I am an ANCC board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with experience providing treatment for a wide variety of mental health concerns, including mood and anxiety disorders, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and personality difficulties.

I believe in providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment for you, and I understand the importance of empathy, trust, and compassion. I incorporate my diverse psychiatric background and knowledge into a holistic approach tailored to your needs.
