Advanced Practice Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Board Certified, PMHNP-BC Doctor of Nursing Practice, DNPDr. Okello is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Dr. Okello has over eighteen years of experience working with patients across the life span. Dr. Okello graduated with high honors from Walden University with a master's and a doctorate in nursing specializing in Psychiatry. Dr. Okello's style of practice can be traditional (prescribing evidence based psychiatric medications) or alternative, natural treatments including but not limited to vitamins, supplements, lifestyle modification- diet, exercise, sleep etc.
Anxiety - Coping with excessive worry, nervousness, or stress; intense discomfort in social settings (social anxiety); sudden and intense feelings of panic (panic disorder)
Bipolar disorder - Developing coping and preventive strategies to stabilize extreme mood swings, including manic and depressive episodes; increasing effective strategies to regulate emotions and maintain a healthy daily routine
