Dr. Kelly Richardson, is a Doctor of Nursing Practice, with a Psychiatric Mental certification working in both Texas and Alaska. She works with individuals from across the life span. Many of her clients come in to address changes in their mood, past traumas, life transitions and self-esteem issues. She is particularly passionate about serving open minded and committed individuals looking for a change and better connections. She also has advanced training in the area of depression, anxiety, PTSD, Bipolar disorder, OCD, and life transitions.

Dr. Richardson is trained in multiple modalities of therapy but centers her practice on Solution Focused therapy and medication management. Focus based therapy is about solutions, not problems. There is a working believe that the client already possesses knowledge and skills to help them improve their overall mental health. In Solution based therapy and psychotropic medications, small change leads to big transformation. In session, Dr. Richardson focuses on medication management, breathing exercises, and mindfulness. This approach supports clients gain confidence in their decision-making ability allowing them to embark on their own journey for better mental health and an understand psychotropic medication management.

Dr. Richardson's style is caring, warm, goal-oriented, and non-judgmental. When clients first start therapy, we will work together as a team to create a deeper understanding of your past history, preferred direction of therapy, and beneficial goals.

Dr. Richardson received their Doctor of Nursing Practice, from University of Massachusetts Amherst. She has worked at Local Hospitals, ERs, and Crisis Centers for over 20 years. Outside of private practice, she enjoys her family, hiking and cycling, along with the greater outdoors. This office offers remote medication management, and direct care services.
