Lisa Anderson is a board certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management services to adolescents and adults. Her approach is to examine the biological, psychological, and social factors that may be contributing to your symptoms and work in partnership with you to suggest treatments or other interventions to address these factors. When medications are recommended, she prescribes conservatively and thoughtfully and uses evidence- based guidelines to inform her care.
She is experienced in the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders. In addition to medication, she may recommend other approaches to treatment such as psychotherapy and lifestyle changes. She often incorporates brief, supportive psychotherapy and psychoeducation during appointments. She is not treating ADHD at this time.
