Uhunoma Osadolor, PMHNP, is a trained functional integrative psychiatric nurse practitioner. She is an adjunct associate professor at Rasmussen University. Uhunoma has more than 10 years of experience in health care. During the last five years, she has been providing psychiatry services, caring for patients with a wide variety of mental health conditions. Uhunoma’s experience includes treating patients in community mental health settings and inpatient acute psychiatric units, providing psychiatric consultation-liaison services to residential treatment centers, and skilled nursing facilities, assisted and independent living communities, and home care.
Uhunoma follows her patients’ progress from their hospital treatment to their life as an outpatient. She describes herself as being a highly sensitive person who strives to care for her patients in a personal and meaningful way, rather than just prescribing medications. Uhunoma has a sincere commitment to patient privacy and satisfaction, as well.
Uhunoma enjoys working with patients 13 and above and genders irrespective of their sexuality or religion. Uhunoma also has a passion for providing mental health services to other healthcare professionals and caregivers.
