Professional statement

Dr. Roxanne Singer is a triple Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health, Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. She is passionate about providing empathetic, client-centered care for individuals whose lives are interrupted by anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, panic disorder, alcohol addiction, schizophrenia, and OCD. Many of her clients seek help to manage emotions that feel uncontrollable, emotions like anger, frustration, sadness, grief, and loneliness. Their emotions tend to cause difficulty functioning , both at home and in the workplace. While they’ve tried to seek help before, her clients need individualized care to find a way forward. Dr. Singer-Gheorghiu helps these clients to reclaim their lives and to find ways to loosen their emotions’ grasp on their mental health.

Dr. Singer-Gheorghiu takes a holistic approach to working with her clients, focusing not only on the mind but also the body and the spirit. She provides clients with genetic testing and metabolic analysis as needed. She integrates this data to provide resources for lifestyle management to improve your well-being. Her approach is warm and empathic, providing a safe space to talk about your innermost thoughts. Her expertise in psychopharmacology enables her to provide safe medication management to alleviate symptoms while working on coping strategies to improve your life and relationships. This is especially helpful for those who suffer from the impact of the pandemic or from experiencing the lasting symptoms COVID-19, as well as those who have trauma histories.

Dr. Singer-Gheorghiu holds a doctorate Nursing Practice and is CBT for Insomnia and HeartMath® Certified. She brings together many therapy modalities to offer clients the care that they need to feel better. Her goal is for clients to live healthier, more comfortable lives without their mental health causing distress or interruption.
