Professional statement

Dr. Brenda Kibola is a Board Certified Adult Psychiatrist. She has successfully treated multiple conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, peripartum mood disorders, schizophrenia, individuals going through difficult life transitions, amongst other mental health conditions through a combination of medication management and psychotherapy.

Dr. Kibola spends plenty of time getting to know each patient before creating a fully customized treatment plan based on their specific needs and priorities. Dr. Kibola uses medications only when necessary and mostly emphasizes behavioral adjustments and interventions. In addition to medication management, Dr. Kibola is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy which she incorporates into her sessions.

Unique to Dr. Kibola's practice is the consideration of the patients' spiritual health grounded on Biblical principles. This Biopsychosocial and spiritual approach ensures that her patients are edified, uplifted and whole. "I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly." John 10:10

Dr. Kibola has 8 years of experience working as a Psychiatrist in collaboration with Therapists, Primary Care Providers, Case Managers and other professionals in the Mental Health field. She received her Medical Degree from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and completed her specialty training in Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York.

You are your life's expert. My goal is to provide a non judgmental environment where we can dive deeper into what has made you into who you are today and find ways that we can work together to get to the best version of you. I look forward to working with you.
