Dr. Kourosh Dini is an adult board-certified psychiatrist in Chicago’s loop who sees individuals for medication management and Psychoanalysis or Psychoanalytic Therapy. He specializes in anxiety, depression, relationships, career counseling, and mindfulness. He also has expertise in helping individuals, including those with ADHD and/or who are creative, become more productive in both their professional and personal lives. He works with them to manage their anxiety, so they can gain better focus.

With training in numerous modalities including psychiatry, psychoanalysis, CBT, and meditation, as well as a first-hand understanding of creativity, Dr. Dini tailors his treatments to the individual. Many of his clients are interested in long-term work.

Dr. Dini helps his clients get to know themselves on a deeper level, so they can harness their strengths and live the life they envision. Before starting his private practice, Dr. Dini studied for nearly a decade at the Institute for Psychoanalysis. He completed a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of Chicago and completed his Adult Psychiatry Residency at the University of Illinois. He received his MD from the University of Illinois Medical School. His office is located right across the street from The Art Institute of Chicago.
