Dr. Burgos is a Columbia and Cornell trained child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist. His private practice focuses on psychotherapy, lifestyle interventions and, when indicated, medication management for the treatment of a broad range of psychiatric problems. These include depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, work stress, low self-esteem and relationship issues. He offers a tailored therapy experience and provide a warm, welcoming and collaborative atmosphere in which to work with you to address your individual needs. He sees patients both via telemedicine and in-person in his Upper West Side office.

Dr. Burgos has extensive training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and interpersonal psychotherapy. He also incorporates elements of eastern mindfulness in treatment. The specific treatment approach will depend on your specific problem. Depending on the problem and severity, medications may play an important role.
