Professional statement

Living a joyful, peaceful life starts with laying claim to one’s inner power. As a therapist, Emily works with individuals struggling with their self image to develop a sense of unshakable confidence and believe in themselves.

Emily draws from a variety of techniques and individualizes her approach to each client. Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emily collaborates with clients to uncover limiting beliefs that contribute to their sense of feeling stuck, unfulfilled, or self doubt. From there, Emily helps clients reframe their beliefs in a more positive, self-compassionate light so they can nourish their sense of independence and self-determination. She also uses mindfulness to bring clients into the present and deepen their connection with themselves so they can find more satisfaction, joy, and pleasure in life.

By working with Emily, clients are able to move through the doubt, fear, and a lack of confidence holding them back from experiencing life fully.

Message to clients

My therapy practice focuses on helping you discover your inner strength, confidence, and knowledge so you can live a life that’s more joyful, peaceful, and fun! Whether you want to show up more fully in your relationship, advocate for yourself at work, or learn to trust your innate inner wisdom, we’ll work collaboratively to nourish your sense of independence and self determination.

Conquering negative self talk, overcoming old patterns, and setting boundaries that support your mental health are all areas we’ll explore together. Curiosity and compassion will guide us through this process so we can identify what’s working for you, what isn’t, and create an individualized approach to therapy that’s aligned with the life you want to build. As a result, you’ll be able to experience all of life’s richness as the best version of yourself possible!

The world would be a better place if all of us recognized and took ownership of our inner strength. Sometimes, having a person in your corner to empower you along your journey can make all the difference. Let’s move together in the direction of more joy, deep fulfillment, and authentic purpose.
