Professional statement

Do you feel like your romantic relationship lacks direction? You start arguing over small things, but the arguments perhaps persist because you both focus on winning instead of solving the problem. You have stressful careers, but meeting career and home demands seem impossible. You want the best for your kids, but are you pushing them too hard or not hard enough? Perhaps you are both used to getting your way at work, but at home, there is a need for compromise. Maybe the spark that was once there has left, at least most of the time. You want to have what you once had but are not sure how. You love your partner but aren't "in love."

My strong work ethic, integrity, degree of commitment, and friendliness allow me to foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I view myself as a product of my mother’s creative, emotional personality and my father’s logical, engineering mind —a combination that informs my approach to mental health counseling.

Please feel free to reach out to me if you would like help with couples therapy, premarriage counseling, ior marriage counseling. Please message me and see if I seem to be a good fit. I offer free telehealth or in-person consultations. Many prefer a male counselor. My practice is convenient for Dublin OH, Upper Arlington OH, New Albany, and Columbus OH

Message to clients

If you feel like your relationship is lacking direction and you find yourselves arguing over small things without finding a resolution, couples counseling may be a helpful option for you. Balancing demanding careers and home life can be overwhelming, and it's important to find a healthy balance. Additionally, if you're unsure about how to best support your children or if you're struggling to compromise with your partner, counseling can provide guidance. It's common for the initial spark in a relationship to fade over time, but with the right tools and support, you can work towards rekindling that love and connection.

The best training one can have when it comes to helping couples, is experience in long-term relationships. I have been married for 17 years and have two kids. I have a healthy marriage but have struggled with many things my clients struggle with. The good news is that my training has allowed me to learn and apply antidotes to common issues.

Many couples come in thinking they are unique in their problems. I feel like I've seen it all (at least as far as common themes). You are probably not all that unique.
