Dr. addyson tucker (they/them) is neurodivergent, white, and genderqueer therapist. addyson's approach is trauma informed, liberation centered, and anti-oppressive. Many clients seek to relieve suffering due to shame, distress, and disconnection, hoping for greater ease and connection to themselves and others. Sociocultural & systemic oppression amplify the struggles for those with intersecting identities. addyson thrives at the intersections of queerness, gender, race, ability, & body diversity. They have extensive training and experience supporting queer, trans, and nonbinary adults.
addyson is also a certified Body Trust provider for those with body struggles (e.g., gender dysphoria, chronic pain, internalized fat stigma) and navigating anti-fat, anti-Black, anti-trans, and ableist ‘norms'. Anticipated certification (Nov 2024) as a NARM therapist (Neuroaffective Relational Model) through the Complex Trauma Training Center. The NARM framework helps those with developmental, intergenerational, and relational trauma. Interventions might include body awareness, process reflection, and critical consciousness.
Dr. tucker has limited openings for adults (18+). All individual services are virtual via secure telehealth platform. Locations include MA & RI, as well as DC, MD, CT, VT, ME, IL, MN, CO, & WA (via PsyPACT). addyson also offers groups, workshops, and a quarterly newsletter. Outside of work, addyson is a nerd for all things trans, Black, & fat liberation. Grateful to be able-bodied, addyson loves belly dancing and moving to music. They appreciate simple pleasures such as cuddling with their pets and ice cream.

Body image - As a Certified Body Trust Provider (TM), I help individuals who struggle with the relationship to their body, including struggles with size/shape, fatness, recovery from diet culture, navigating fat stigma, & deepening your roots into Body Trust for body liberation.
