Professional statement

Adrianna is an art therapist and trauma-informed counselor who supports individuals navigating relationship struggles, emotional overwhelm, and unresolved trauma. She works with adults seeking to deepen their sense of self, repair emotional wounds, and build more meaningful, stable connections with others. Many of her clients are high-functioning, compassionate individuals who still carry invisible weights—patterns rooted in childhood pain, religious trauma, or relational disconnection.

Adrianna integrates art therapy, mindfulness, and body-based approaches like NARM, DBT, CBT, somatic methods, and the Nurtured Heart Approach to help clients understand their emotions, regulate their nervous systems, and access lasting change. She specializes in working with those who feel stuck in cycles of self criticism, emotional reactivity, or disconnection—guiding them toward self-trust, relational attunement, and a more grounded experience of life.

With a background that bridges psychotherapy, attachment theory, neuroscience, and expressive arts, Adrianna creates a nonjudgmental space where clients can feel safe exploring past hurts and present challenges. She also supports spiritual, gifted and sensitive individuals, especially those navigating parenting, spiritual growth, or creative burnout.

Adrianna is the founder of The Flame of Hope Art Therapy & Counseling, located in Meridian, ID, and also offers remote sessions for residents throughout ID and NM. She is currently accepting new clients for weekday morning and early afternoon appointments.

Message to clients

Therapy with me is a creative, collaborative process—a space where words are only one language among many. Art, image, movement, and metaphor become bridges to the deeper self. I work best with clients who are open to engaging their inner world through art therapy, even if they don’t consider themselves “artistic.” No experience is necessary—just curiosity and a willingness to explore.

You may be carrying invisible weight—tension in the body, loops of self-doubt, grief from past relationships, or a longing for something more grounded, more true. In our work, we’ll listen closely to what your emotions, body, and nervous system are trying to say—and support your healing at a pace that honors your capacity.

I welcome clients of all backgrounds and hold space for the complex relationships we each have with spirituality, identity, and healing. My role is not to separate you from your spiritual or religious roots, but to support the truth of your experience as it unfolds. Whether you're navigating spirituality questions, trauma, family patterns, or simply seeking a life that feels more alive and aligned, therapy can help.

You don’t have to show up perfect. You just have to show up.
