Message to clients

One of the best gifts you can give yourself, is to reclaim the life you were always meant to live. When trials and tribulations of life feel unmanageable, it can be lonely, and the peace we seek can feel far away. It may feel overwhelming attempting to be everything to everyone. It may feel frustrating to not yet be the best version of you- attempting to pour from any empty cup. We know when it's time to seek more healthy, sustainable habits for ourselves. We know when it's time to admit we are simply, "tired."

Therapy may or may not have been an option for you in the past, but it can serve as the anchor you need moving forward to start saying "no" to people and spaces that drain you. Instead, start saying "yes" to protecting your peace and claiming your joy. Walk a journey more focused on your own goals beginning with restoration and healing. I'd like to help you recognize and use your strengths to empower your movement toward a more meaningful life.

During my nine years as a therapist, I have assisted individuals, couples and families in navigating various types of challenging, uncontrolled circumstances including depression, anxiety, life transitions, trauma, and racial, as well as other types of oppression. In addition to treatment, I also train and supervise other therapists, and provide professional workshops and consultations supporting the value of racial justice. I value warm, authentic engagement, steady empowerment, hope, as well as humor!
