Adrienne LaRoe is a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate located in The Woodlands, TX. Adrienne works with clients of different ages, from late teens to older adults. She supports couples who would like to grow their relationships and move past enduring conflict. She also helps families who are going through chronic or new illnesses, challenges with autism, or major life transitions. Many of her clients face anxiety, depression, professional burnout, grief, PTSD, chronic illness or pain, low self-esteem, or relationship conflict.
Adrienne is passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families rewrite their stories. She guides them through introspection and development so they can reach a higher state of wellbeing. She utilizes a few different therapy modalities in her work, including mindfulness practices, Narrative Therapy, The Gottman Method, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Clients learn how to pay attention to their feelings, and they learn new coping strategies that can be helpful at home, school, or work. They also learn how to focus their relationships around healthy patterns, including healthy thought and belief patterns, so they can enjoy the bonds they have with others. Adrienne provides empathetic, kind support throughout the mental health journey.
Adrienne earned a Master’s degree from Our Lady of the Lake University.
