Professional statement

Alece Coleman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker committed to helping women learn how to process difficult childhood experiences so they can have meaningful relationships of all kinds (parental, platonic and romantic). Alece is a graduate of Fordham University with a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work and a specialization in Social Work and Law. Alece holds extensive post Master's education and Certifications in Perinatal and Post Partum Mood Disorders, Somatic (Body based healing) and Inner Child Work.

Initially Alece serves clients by determining their needs also known professionally as the humanistic approach. As needs are identified, Alece begins to utilize inner child work to work through unprocessed emotions from childhood that are affecting current relationships and or decision making. When appropriate cognitive behavioral skills are used to help track progress towards client identified goals.

Clients meet with Alece virtually through a HIPPA secure platform making therapy easily accessible and flexible to meet the needs of clients.
