Alexandra believes in utilizing a strengths-based approach, while applying techniques from varying modalities such as CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, narrative therapy, and motivational interviewing. During sessions, Alexandra encourages her clients to bring in topics they would like to address, while also working through goals from the developed treatment plan.
Counseling looks different for each client-Alexandra truly believes in the importance of working with her clients to develop a therapeutic relationship and system that works for you as an individual. You both will utilize techniques that will require practice outside of session, assessments to measure progress, and guided conversation within session.
