Alicia Almonte-Cintron is a licensed mental health counselor in the state of New York. She specializes in addiction, anxiety, trauma, and depression. Alicia has spent the last three years of her post-graduate career assisting those in active use and in recovery. She has had experience working with clients age 12-75.

Alicia’s therapy approach is mainly CBT, which assists to identify a client’s unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. Alicia also utilizes strength’s-based approach in order to assist the client in recognizing their own power. Her practice is trauma focused.

Alicia received her Masters’ Degree from SUNY at Albany in December 2019. Alicia has since gone on to do various therapy work, including individual, joint/couple, and groups. Alicia is available for remote sessions Monday- Friday, generally from 9am-5pm. Sessions outside of that time are welcome.
