Professional statement

Alisa Jones is a Clinical Therapist serving the areas of Las Vegas, Nevada and Utah. She is an anxiety and relationship expert and works exclusively with people that are sick of temporary quick-fix's and are ready to do the real work necessary to heal themselves and their relationships from the inside out.

Alisa has done an extensive variety of professional trainings over the years in search of what really works and doesn't work in helping people get to the root of their suffering and heal it. She helps client's cut through the "noise" and learn how to discern what's true for them and regain their own innate wisdom, clarity, and self-confidence. She also provides the necessary knowledge and skills training needed to sustain the changes they make in therapy so that they can continue to grow and evolve on their own.

She does not believe in long term weekly therapy because she believes it fosters dependency rather than building self-efficacy and personal power. In other words, she'd rather teach her clients to fish, so to speak. Her therapy process usually takes approximately 4-12 months and her client's leave feeling confident in their ability to feel and process challenging emotions and bodily sensations (like anxiety), handle triggers effectively, and navigate their relationships with a sense of personal power, authenticity, and clarity.

Common themes that Alisa's clients usually come to therapy including the following: anxiety that is causing relationship issues, unhealed trauma, perfectionism, feeling trapped or stuck in some aspect of their life, feeling disconnected to self, life, or others, breaking negative relationship patterns, codependency, narcissism, and attachment issues, parenting challenges, and reconciling religion and spirituality.

Message to clients

Hi there. I'm Alisa and I help people work through issues related to anxiety and stress, difficult emotions, self-confidence, parenting, and relationship challenges. You can expect a compassionate, honest, direct approach that is effective. You'll learn radical self-love, how to develop a healthy inner emotional life and how to create loving, supportive, joyful relationships starting with your relationship with YOU.

This work consists of learning to listen deeply within yourself so that you can discern what you TRULY feel, need, and desire. I’ll teach you how to work WITH your thoughts and emotions in healthy ways, how to heal past pain and hurt so it doesn't keep ruining your relationships, and how to listen to the incredible wisdom of your body. You’ll let go of the heaviness of doubt, fear, and worry and reconnect with a deep level of inner clarity, peace, aliveness, and joy that is not dependent on other people’s feelings, or behaviors or ANY outward circumstances.

The work we do is experiential NOT intellectual. You're not coming to me for something you can get from reading a book or watching a YouTube video. You're going to gain knowledge, understanding, tools, and skills so that you can handle ANY challenge with confidence and faith. You’ll also develop a kinder way to be with yourself, others, and life itself.

My clients have told me that working with me feels like a “deep exhale” after having held their breathe for way too long.”
