Professional statement

Are you struggling with overcoming perfectionism? Are you tired of constantly overthinking and not feeling confident about decisions you're making? Are you feeling stuck in old beliefs or patters caused from childhood trauma? Many of my clients have tried talk therapy before and find that it is not enough to help them achieve their goals. I integrate EMDR and mindfulness therapies into sessions to help my clients heal faster and maintain their progress over time. I use a trauma-informed, collaborative approach with clients to explore the issues that are keeping them stuck.

I specialize in working with women who are struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, and trauma. I am passionate about helping heal negative beliefs you may have about yourself like "I'm not good enough" or "I'm unlovable." I believe that when we install more positive beliefs and desensitize previous traumatic incidents using EMDR, you find long lasting healing and are able to start enjoying your life.

I'll help you tap into your current resources and build new skills sets that allow them to heal from anxiety, trauma The theoretical approaches I use most in session are Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness. Through my experience and therapeutic relationship with clients, you can build emotion regulation tools, learn mindfulness skills, tolerate distress, reprocess traumatic incidents or negative childhood experiences, learn communication skills, and build mindfulness skills.

I offer remote telehealth sessions across California to allow flexibility and convenience so therapy can fit into your busy life. I also offer in person sessions on Saturdays and walk-and-talk sessions upon request.

Message to clients

Therapy can be intimidating and it can be difficult to find the right therapeutic fit for you. It can feel scary and vulnerable to reach out for therapy and begin to work through personal issues.

I am sensitive to the bravery and vulnerability clients show in reaching out for therapy. I am a collaborative therapist, meaning we will always go at your pace in therapy and you will not be pushed to discuss issues you are not ready to address. I like to remind potential clients that the relationship between client and therapist is essential in your healing journey. I hope to provide my clients with a welcoming and judgment free zone where we can work through issues standing in the way of the kind of life you want to live. Beginning therapy can be stressful. In the first few sessions of therapy with me, I spend time to get to know my clients and figure out what you hope to gain from therapy. I am here to support you in your journey of healing and living a better life.
