For over a decade, Allison has helped folks from many walks of life and in various settings. She balances the art of clinical expertise, creativity, and no-BS authenticity to create a safe space for her clients to not only tell their stories—but rewrite them.
Allison is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Rhode Island who is especially passionate about working with women and Moms across all stages of Momhood as well as creatives and artists of all mediums, and college-age folks. She has a Masters degree and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies from Rhode Island College, and specialized training in perinatal and postpartum mental health from Seleni Institute and Postpartum Support International. Additionally, she is a PeaceLove certified CREATOR, through which she incorporates expressive arts interventions into her therapeutic work. Allison uses an eclectic approach, from behavioral and skills-based interventions (CBT, DBT) to expressive arts interventions, depending on her clients' needs and preferences. Additionally, she provides personal financial wellness coaching to single women and Moms to educate and empower them to become more financially independent and stable.
Outside of her role as a therapist, Allison is a Mom, musician, photographer, martial artist, dog-worshipper, and beach bum.
