Alyssa is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Mankato, Minnesota. She works with young adult and adult women who want to better understand themselves so they can become the person they are meant to be and live the life they want for themselves. They may be struggling through a life transition, trying to move forward after a difficult experience, or facing a new part of life that they feel unprepared for.

Alyssa works from a trauma-informed, self-compassionate, and mindfulness-based lens. Her clients describe her as warm, empathetic, and insightful. Her goal is that every client feel understood, embraced, and empowered. Alyssa utilizes an integrative approach to inform the therapeutic process with each of her clients so that she can tailor treatment to each client's unique experience and needs. The modalities that she utilizes most to inform her care of clients include: Polyvagal Theory, Internal Family Systems Theory, and Schema Theory, as well as psychosomatic, mindfulness, and client-centered approaches.

A seasoned provider, Alyssa has worked in the wellness industry since 2011 as a certified wellness coach and completed her Master of Social Work degree in 2018 to pursue licensure as a clinical social worker. Her passion is helping others better understand the connection between their mind and body, as well as, how past experiences inform their current beliefs about themselves. Alyssa equips her clients to face whatever life throws their way with confidence so they can thrive and fully embrace every part of who they are.
