See Alyssa's Details for:
Alyssa creates an open, non-judgmental therapeutic space where people with OCD, ADHD, and anxiety can prioritize their mental health, combat negative thoughts, and create healthier, more productive coping strategies.
Through her person-centered approach, Alyssa invites clients to come as they are and feel free to be themselves. Whether someone is struggling with inattentiveness and hyperactivity or obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors, both can create feelings of shame, anxiety, and stress. That’s why self compassion and self love are two key tenets of Alyssa’s practice. Exploring the thoughts, feelings and past experiences that drive these obsessive behaviors starts when clients feel safe enough to be vulnerable.
By combining these practices with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), clients can combat negative thoughts, free themselves from disruptive patterns, and take back control of their lives.
