Message to clients

Welcome to my page. I am Amanda Colon, Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I am supervised by Carlos Laack, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

At some point in life, we come upon a challenge beyond anything we've ever encountered or tried to manage. Such times can feel quite unsettling, even overwhelming, especially when we're also experiencing depression, anxiety, and loss. As tough as these transitions maybe, they can also become a turning point where we finally address what has previously been too difficult to face alone. When we allow ourselves to feel deeply heard and unconditionally understood by someone truly attuned to us, the experience can be life-changing.

Other times you are simply trying to find your way and understand the why behind the way you're feeling or the things that make you afraid or sad, we can walk through that together. Do you want to see a better outlook on life, a stronger sense of self, or a better relationship with your family, friends, or yourself, we can create some goals ...together.

So, today I'm inviting you to come to therapy and to start a new path in life. Therapy provides a safe and non-judgmental space to share your story, be your authentic self and discover your innate set of strengths and agency that can lead to transformative growth and resiliency!
