Message to clients

I provide therapy to both children and parents; however, I am currently only accepting adult clients for parent support/training.

Ever feel like as a parent you are unsure how to handle certain situations? Unsure if your child’s behavior is typical childhood/teenage issues or something more concerning? What about when your child struggles with anxiety, depression, or ADHD? Are you confused on how/when to push them or determining the difference between their mental health challenge or typical childhood challenges?

I provide supportive counseling to parents struggling with parenting their children. The focus is on understanding your child’s behaviors, helping to determine if different parenting approaches are necessary and deciphering between typical childhood behaviors and concerning mental health challenges. I look to provide a space for parents to talk about the challenges of parenting even if your child does not have a major mental health challenge. The goal of treatment is to feel more confident in your parenting style/approach and knowing when to push your child, when to let things go and when to use different strategies.
